Stained Glass Classes
I’ve taught stained glass on and off since 1980.
I teach “hands-on”. You will learn the best techniques to complete your projects with attention on the details. You can build anything you want, once you complete the 5-week beginner class. I will personally help you with your project.
Day
Currently, I teach just one class a week, on Thursday mornings from 9:30 -12:00 Class starts to wind down around 11:45 and we are done at 12:00
Cost
If you’re new to working with stained glass, the cost of a five (5) week class is $125.00 and I include everything you need for your first two (2) projects that are pre-selected.
After the 5 weeks, if you decide to continue with classes, the classes reduce to $15.00 per week and you supply your own materials. I have material here for sale. There’s no obligation for you to purchase your supplies from Cubby’s.
If you have experience, you can start at $15.00 per week, as long as you have skills enough to cut glass and have the basic supplies.
Classes are paid for the month, at the beginning of each month. If you decide to stay as a regular student, your classes must be paid for the whole month regardless if you are sick, can’t make it to class or going on vacation. That keeps your seat (for you only) while you’re not there for the reasons outlined above.
Payments
Cash is preferred. If you use a CC, I charge 3% on top of the 6% sales tax.
The classes are set up as: “Use them or Lose them”. You must come every week or forfeit any class you miss. Classes are non-transferable.
We don’t talk about certain subjects in class. They include Politics and Religion.
It’s difficult to get into class because it’s constantly full. Please call or text 352-228-7020 to inquire about space in class and/or getting your name on a waiting list.
