Such a great birthday gift for my husband. Even though it was shipped promptly, a hiccup from the USPS meant we didn’t get it as early as hoped, but whadda ya gonna do? As soon as I read the description of the bottle trees, I knew the seller was artistic and paid attention to details that matter. I ordered the “Show Off” and it did not disappoint! The information Walt provided about handling, installation, and avoiding potential injuries was very impressive! I opted to use anchoring cement after making sure my base was vertically level. (And the guy I’m married to was more than happy to demonstrate how easy it is to dig a hole with a post hole digger (Easy??? – not for these scrawny guns.) I spray painted the tree black after following the installation instructions, ordered cobalt blue wine bottles from a Amazon (that’s another story – got shorted one bottle in each of two cases:( and decorated my beautiful bottle tree. I LOVE IT!

Had LED bulbs swapped out in our old yard fixtures and suddenly had an empty corner flooded with warm bright light. We have enjoyable afternoon ‘habit’ of drinking a bottle of Gamay Rouge in our pool & bottle tree sounded fun. Received ‘Show Off’ in 3 days but then realized ‘no garden tools’. Guy at Lowes saw me wandering and told me to buy a Garden Auger. Arrives tomorrow via Amazon. Ill update with photo once planted. Walt may want to mention 2″ x 22″ Garden Auger in notes for those of us who are challenged. Its going to be fantastic, just not today. UPDATE: It took me 2 days to dig a 20″ deep hole. Used sharp metal hand spade, 2″ x 22″ garden auger, and a 20″ drill bit on cordless drill, BUT DID IT! Whew. HAPPY project. Nicely built with solid welds. Will look better when its full! I LOVE THIS TREE. Thanks Walt!
