I love this bottle tree. It is actually a bit larger than I expected, as the base that it fits into is about 2 1/2″. I painted it and pounded the base into the ground (well, hubby did) and placed a pot over the base. I slid the main part of the tree into the base and filled the pot with gravel and mulch. I really like the way it looks, and even my husband, who couldn”t understand why I wanted a bottle tree in our yard, likes it. I”m going to stuff some solar fairy lights inside the bottles to light it up at night.
